That the Kite Robot easily outperforms the traditional window cleaner in his suspended basket against the facade is hardly surprising. However, it is mainly the increasingly strict requirements and safety regulations that are driving developers and building managers toward Kite Robotics, which won the Cobouw Innovation Award two years ago.

Innovation recognized by the Province of Overijssel

Kite Robotics is developing an untethered facade cleaning robot with an integrated battery system and water reservoir. This robot can be used to automatically clean high-rise facades at height without relying on a fixed power or water supply. To support this development, Kite Robotics has received a grant from the Province of Overijssel. We are very grateful to the Province of Overijssel for this support.
